Every home is different. Each has its little quarks. Same is true for septic. Time, location, residents, maintenance, all play a part in the condition. Below, we've tried to combine simple answers to techy questions; but, you get the idea.

Q.  Do you service all the islands?
   A. Yes

Q.  How long a wait is there for you to come?
   A. Around Lopez, usually within a week. Other islands, usually within 2 weeks.

Q.  Do you guarantee your work?
   A. YES! 100%

Q.  What if I don't know where my septic tank is located?
   A. I got you!!

Q.  Does a family of five need the same pumping schedule as a single couple?
   A. No. But there’s no right answer. It all depends on if the system is working the way it should and if people are putting the proper items down the drain.

Inspection Services

• Q.  How much does an inspection cost?
  • A.  These rates can vary, but are pretty close:
    • Gravity $150
    • Pressure $200
    • Proprietary $250 (some restrictions may apply)
• Q.  How long does it take? 
  • A. Usually about an hour
• Q.  Is it certified? Can I use it to sell/buy a home?  
  • A.  Yes and Yes
• Q.  What is done during a septic inspection?
  • A. Looking at all of the components. The levels of solids in the tank. Sending a report to the county.
• Q.  Is the home buyer or seller obligated to pay for an inspection?
  • A. Usually the seller, but other arrangements can be made.
• Q.  How long do septic systems last?
  • A. Forever, if taken care of properly.
    
• Q.  How do I know if my drain field is failing?
  • A.  Smells, "ponding," alarms going off, etc.
    
• Q.  Does a home inspection include well and septic?
  • A.  No, just septic.
